Innovation in design of solar protection devices to educational buildings: development of a product regarding environmental perception and performance evaluation

This projetc aims to inovate and evaluate the use of solar protections during its development as an architectural product in educational environments. It must be in accordance to national techniques, to the thermal performance in tropical climate, to the aesthetical perception of building users and to its viability according to the production processes and as a functional device.
Results:
Patent registered of a solar chimney integrated to a solar protection (brise soleil), called brise-solar-chimney (brise-chaminé-solar)
