PPG.au/UFV student defends dissertation on the use of PCM in the thermal performance of buildings
Published onJoão Pedro Martins, a student in the Master's Program in Architecture and Urbanism (PPG.au), defended his master's thesis on February 26, 2026.
The research aimed to evaluate the contribution of Phase Change Material (PCM) to the thermoenergetic performance of a monitored space in the climate context of Viçosa-MG (ZB 2M – ABNT, 2024). The complete material will soon be available in the Locus Repository – UFV (https://locus.ufv.br/home).
In addition to the advisor, Joyce Carlo, professors Matheus Oliveira (PPG.au – UFV) and Saulo Guths (PPGEC – UFSC) participated in the panel. This work was carried out with the support of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel – Brazil (CAPES) – Financing Code 001.
