Published on
On September 25 and 26, 2025, LATECAE members participated in the VII Seminar on Planning and Evaluation of the Built Environment (SEPAAC), whose theme was “Configurations of the Built Environment in Response to Crises: Technologies, Innovations, and Practices.” The event brought together researchers, experts, managers, and professionals interested in discussing contemporary challenges related to planning and evaluating the built environment.
The meeting provided a space for dialogue and exchange of experiences on innovative strategies and solutions aimed at prevention, management, and recovery of the built environment in the face of different types of crises. Among the topics discussed were urban resilience, sustainability, the impacts of climate change, and responses to social and environmental emergencies.
The participation of LATECAE members in the event reinforces the laboratory's commitment to scientific production and the development of research aimed at improving the conditions of the built environment. In addition, the seminar represented an important opportunity to expand academic collaboration networks and share knowledge about technologies, practices, and innovations applied to urban and architectural planning in crisis contexts.
